  • Privileges that a passenger has due to his booked cruise ticket are automatically taken into account. This can include packages, discounts, separate access to special areas on the ship (VIP Lounges, Yacht Clubs, etc). This means that it’s no longer decided by the service employee, but by the computer.

  • Reduction of onboard HR costs through automation - e.g. All financial data from POS is part of the financial data in the SPMS system. No more balancing between the 2 systems
  • Daily item sales limits can be defined for all account types build for Customs Compliance e.g. daily sale of cigarettes
  • Mini cruise normal cruise and long cruise item sales limits can be set for Crew build for Customs Compliance Rule for Crew
  • Different Debit Main departments can be defined for Sales Item in order to differentiate between prepaid (Reservation System) and onboard package and item sales
  • The integration will allow finance/controlling to do complete reconciliation of onboard promotions including the associated cost.
  • The same package can be sold as Prepaid Packages and Onboard, Reservation System and Onboard sales utilizing different sales parameters e.g. prepaid package price includes service charge when sold onboard service charge is added automatically

  • Allowing waiters to see guests’ information for those assigned to his station e.g. Guest Profile available at POS client shows package and special request details of selected consumer
  • Dining reservations are displayed on the guest itinerary in PMS. If a guest books an excursion or spa appointment the user is alerted if there are any conflicts with Dining reservations at the same date.
  • Guest historical ordering tendencies are available for waiters to see. For example, modifiers like temperature preferences and special requests.
